About Us

The Source’s name is derived from our commitment to seeking and retailing outstanding products. Every item you see online, or in our store, has been hand selected, and we reject much more than we accept. Only products that excite both us and our customers are sold through our stores.
Founded in 2004 by Matthew Harris and Scott Druce, The Source retail concept has been welcomed by Melbournian’s. A selection of our best paper products is available on this site.
In 2008 we launched NoteMaker.com.au – our online store. During the next 12 months we will be adding many new exciting stationery products.
In just a two year period, The Source, has been recognised for its’ outstanding retail concept at the Gift Awards. The Source was a finalist in the 2007 gift awards. This was a great follow-up after winning the award for independent “Gift Retailer of the Year” in the 2006 round of the Gift Awards.
